Combined with the characteristics of power system, the application requirements of quantum secure communication technology in power grid are analyzed. This paper summarizes the research progress of quantum secure communication power grid technology from four dimensions of environmental adaptability, service adaptability, cryptosystem compatibility and lean operation and maintenance, and summarizes the demonstration application of quantum secure communication power grid for different types of optical cables, different quantum networks and different grid services. This paper studies the problems that need to be solved in the popularization and application of quantum secure communication technology in the new power system with new energy as the main body and puts forward the follow-up research and application suggestions.
