Abstract: The information and communication industry is the core field of the digital economy. It plays an increasingly important role in enhancing China’s industrial competitive advantage and promoting the transformation of new and old kinetic energy. Although the current Sino-US economic and trade friction has eased, the strategic intention of the United States to curb the rise of China through the blockade of core technologies has not changed, bringing great uncertainty to the development of the information and communication industry. Through research and analysis, this paper believes that
Sino-US economic and trade friction will affect the development of China’s information and communication industry in terms of security, innovation, openness and talents. It is recommended that relevant departments attach great importance to promoting institutional reform, increasing openness, and accelerating ecological construction. We will train and introduce high- end talents, enlarge and strengthen the information and communication industry, and achieve highquality economic development.
