    • Quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) is one of the important forms of quantum communication, which refers to the technology of directly using quantum states as information carriers for secure communication. QSDC with the features of detecting eavesdropping while preventing eavesdropping. It is compatibility with existing optical communication networks, and thus no need to deploy additional encryption facilities. QSDC is naturally suitable for the transmission of information at high security levels. In this paper, we introduce the latest progress of QSDC in most recent years, and discuss the implementation characteristics of QSDC in the near-term. Finally, we provide an outlook on the direction of its application.

    • In recent years, new trials and expansions have been made in the application of quantum secure communication based on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). In this paper, based on the progress and limitations of QKD in terms of transmission distance and key generation rate, we propose that quantum secure communication based on QKD can be divided into two modes: online distribution of quantum keys and online & offline combined distribution of quantum keys. The advantages and disadvantages of the two modes are analyzed, and the typical application scenarios of these two modes are introduced. The problems faced by QKD in terms of technology, equipment, networking, and network capability provision are discussed, and some solutions are proposed. The application of quantum secure communication is also closely related to the development of traditional encrypted communication services, systems and networks, and needs to be actively promoted by the industry chain.

    • Quantum computing is a candidate focus for advanced computing in the “post-Moore era.” Large-scale commercial quantum processors have not yet been broken through, and all parties are actively exploring future application models. Benchmarking technology is an important force to promote the development and application of the underlying hardware of quantum computing. This paper investigates and summarizes the research and development status of quantum computing benchmarking, and attempts to sort out and classify quantum computing benchmarking technology. Finally, the importance, problems and development trends of quantum computing benchmarks are analyzed and prospected.

    • This paper introduces the particle quantum lidar equipment based on the near-infrared single-photon detector and its application. The maximum detection distance of this equipment is 15 km, it takes only 8 minutes to complete a frame of 360-degree maps, which effectively solves the problem that traditional atmospheric lidar cannot accurately trace the source of dust in the field of environmental protection. This paper describes a quantum lidar monitoring network based on the equipment, which provides a systematic and practical solution for the real-time traceability of atmospheric particulate matter pollution sources, and looks forward to the development route of infrared quantum lidar in the future.

    • Abstract ( 177 ) HTML( 177 )
    • The urban-rural digital access gap has been basically eliminated, but the application gap is still significant. The level of digital skills of rural residents is low, the large difference in the ability of urban and rural residents to participate in digital activities and information consumption, has become a short board restricting the whole people to share the benefits of digital economy and realize the modernization of “people”,which may become a new threshold to widen the gap between urban and rural areas. International organizations and some developed countries attach great importance to digital skills cultivation, and have explored a set of digital skills cultivation system covering top-level design and specific measures, which has certain reference significance for improving China’s digital skills cultivation system. In the future, we need to accelerate digital skills cultivation strategy that covering the whole people, build a digital skills cultivation system with the participation of multiple subjects, build relative supporting courses and service system, and focus on special groups to provide effective digital skills training.
