Research and application of transmission network based on the OXC technology

Abstract:

The problems and service requirements of the existing network prompts the innovation of the all-optical network. The OXC characteristics of super large capacity, ultra-low delay, flexible scheduling and intelligent management-control solve the transmission network problems of insufficient equipment capacity, inflexible scheduling and complex monitoring and control in the current network. Through innovative application, a transmission cloud architecture is proposed, which composed of optical layer resource pool and electrical layer resources in Greater Bay Area.
