Abstract:

Quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) is one of the important forms of quantum communication, which refers to the technology of directly using quantum states as information carriers for secure communication. QSDC with the features of detecting eavesdropping while preventing eavesdropping. It is compatibility with existing optical communication networks, and thus no need to deploy additional encryption facilities. QSDC is naturally suitable for the transmission of information at high security levels. In this paper, we introduce the latest progress of QSDC in most recent years, and discuss the implementation characteristics of QSDC in the near-term. Finally, we provide an outlook on the direction of its application.
