Abstract: Things description for Internet of things refers to information about data itself, and it is used for describing different IoT resources with a uniform metadata. Through the things description, the IoT resources could have the same sematic meaning and could be programmed easily. Things description for IoTwould build acommonmetadata format for things’capability information for sematic interaction and communication.All the things could understand each other’s information and capabilities. Thethings with different structures could interact better and efficiently.
