Abstract: Based on the narrow definition of the Internet of vehicles, this paper summarizes the development stage and current situation of the Internet of vehicles industry, and makes a comparative analysis of the key technologies and possible application scenarios of the Internet of vehicles in the current stage. It sorts out the policy and regulatory requirements, and analyzes the current layout of all parties in the industrial chain. Combined with the industrial status of telecom operators, this paper studies the role they play in the process of the Internet of vehicles industry, as well as the development opportunities and risks, and finally gives the development strategy suggestions and business prospects of telecom operators.
