As a typical representative, a chemical company has the characteristics of complicated processes, production
scenes, equipment factory lines, etc. , and there are a large number of high-density ubiquitous connection scenes,
accompanied by harsh environments such as high temperature, poisonous gas, dust, and flammable explosions. In these
high-risk scenarios, because traditional wireless data transmission methods such as 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi cannot meet the
requirements of low latency, high reliability, and anti-interference, data collection and remote device control are mainly
realized by wired optical fiber. The chemical industry urgently needs low-latency, high-reliability wireless data
transmission methods. In this context, this paper studies the functions of online monitoring, traceability and early
warning, management, control and repair of an intelligent control system based on 5G+ edge computing capabilities in
a chemical enterprises core equipment.
