    • As one of the important directions of 5G network development, Edge Computation can better serve the time sensitive service and enhanced broadband service. This paper analyzes the typical scenarios of Edge Computing and introduces the current standard and industrial progress of Edge Computing. Then the overall architecture and functions of 5G Edge Computing are analyzed in detail, and elaborate three key problems of 5GEdge Computing deployment, including Edge Computing networking, network capability and information exposure and business model, and finally the paper gives the proposed solutionson these issues.

    • Massive beamforming is one of the key technologies to meet the requirements from the three deployment scenarios of 5G: enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), massive machine type communications (mMTC), and ultra reliable and low latency communications (URLLC). Based on the latest standardization progress of 5GNRin 3GPP, this paper introduces and analyzes the standardized massive beamforming in NR, including transmission schemes, CSI acquisition mechanism, reference signal design and beam management procedures. This paper also provides the application and usages of massive beamforming in the three scenarios.

    • Facing the more and more complicated mobile communication network, intelligence is a direction for the future network self- optimization techniques. Applying machine learning algorithms to self- optimization, the network can intelligently coordinate different kinds of optimization objectives according to the variation of environment and status, and achieve the optimum parameters settings. In this paper, based on analysis of thecommonused machine learning algorithms, by considering the characters of the data in the future network, a preliminary intelligent optimization framework and steps are proposed. Furthermore, the commonly used machine learning algorithms for different optimization functions are classified and summarized.

    • The 5G network has creatively designed the network architecture and defined a completely new service network architecture. It is based on four system design principles, including IT- oriented, Internet- based, simplistic, and serviceoriented. It refers to the industry’s mature SOA, micro-service architecture and other concepts, combined with the current status, characteristics and trends of the telecommunications network. This means that the 5Gnetworks are really beginning to become open, service- oriented, and software- oriented, which is conducive to the integration of 5G and vertical industries. This paper analyzes the necessity and inevitability of architecture evolution from the aspects of requirements and technology, and then elaborates the main parts of service architecture design, including architecture reconstruction, service framework, micro service design and IT-oriented SBI. Finally, a distributed service architecture with more efficient, flexible and decoupled is proposed.

    • The radio frequency index of base stations before 5G are mostly tested by conduction test. However, due to the application of Massive MIMO technology in the 5G era, the complexity of the conduction test has been greatly increased, and the conduction test fully characterizes the radio frequency performance of the base station. This paper introduces the impact of 5G key technologies on radio frequency index testing, and then analyzes the disadvantages of traditional testing in 5G base station testing through interpretation of the 3GPP standard. Finally, the testing scheme and improvement scheme that can adapt to the current testing method of 5G base station radio frequency index are analyzed.

    • LTE based broadband trunking communication system serves the dedicated network markets. Firstly, this paper introduces the composition of the broadband trunking communication system, the location of the core network equipment in the network, the network entity included and the function of each entity. Then the design of test cases is introduced in detail, including the test methods theory, broadband data test cases and trunking test cased. The paper emphasized on the test cases analysis from the aspects of packet services, trunking services, trunking functions, packets and trunking concurrent services. In addition, the research of test cases from the perspective of eHSS device functions and operation and maintenance. The standard development of LTE based broadband trunking communication system has gone through two stages. In the first stage, the system equipment is a whole, and in the second stage the system equipment is divided into core network equipment and base station equipment, which means that the core network equipment of different vendors are able to interoperate. The test method introduced in this paper is a standard in the second stage standard system of broadband trunked communication system basedonLTE.

    • Because of the development of the market requirements and technologies, video surveillance industry has been increasing quickly in China, and its intelligent progress has also been accelerating accordingly. From the front-end equipments to the back- end ones, artificial intelligence technology has been widely used in the video surveillance industry. Due to their advantages, domestic video surveillance chips have occupied a large scale of the market, and domestic intelligent chips have a good prospect in this industry. In this paper, development background for video surveillance industry will be first introduced, and intelligent progress will then be studied in both requirement and technology aspects, a deeper analysis of the Chinese video surveillance chips will also be given. Finally, the development trends of the video surveillance industry will be concluded.

    • Network Function Virtualization (NFV) is the basic technology of future telecom networking and the trend for network evolution. As this technology is becoming mature and the 5G era is coming, NFV will be provisioned on a large scale in the near future. This article introduces the advantages of NFV technology and its trend of deployment as well, and also analyses its risks from NFV’s 5 key components: infrastructure layer, Hypervisor, VM, VNF layer and MANO. In order to mitigate these risks, this article has proposed some key security technologies and measures.

    • In the first half of 2018, the global economic recovery and the accumulation of risks coexisted, the uncertainty increased. Chinese economy continued to develop steadily and the structural adjustment was further advanced. The domestic Internet industry is developing strongly, showing the characteristics of“two rises and one fall”. The market value has risen rapidly, with a scale of nearly 10 trillion yuan; investment and financing have risen sharply, leading enterprises have driven the effect significantly; revenue growth has dropped slightly, and the growth rate has dropped from 40% to 33%. At the same time, there are problems such as high valuation enterprises getting listed, platform competition fierce, and platform governance challenges. It is suggested to improve the financial market system, standardize the industry competition order, strengthen platform supervision, guide enterprise valuation to return to rationality, and create an orderly Internet market. The competitive environment promotes the healthy and sustainable development of the industry.
