Maturity model and assessment method of digital twin cities

Abstract:

Maturity is used to describe the development process of the assessment object from the low level to the high level. With the exploration of digital twin cities, how to effectively assess the development level and guide orderly construction has become an important proposition in the field of digital twin cities. Based on international and domestic maturity research, first, the connotation of digital twin city maturity is defined. Then, a maturity model of digital twin city is built, which classifies the characteristics of digital twin city from level 1 to level 5, and covers five dimensions and 19 indicators of digital twin city assessment. A quantitative assessment method is also proposed. Finally, suggestions are given for the application of the maturity model of digital twin city, which is expected to provide useful references for the assessment, certification and upgrading of digital twin city project.
