Research on AVP system based on 5G+AI

Abstract:

As one of the important applications of intelligent connected vehicles in the future, Automated Valet Parking(AVP) aims to solve the problem of difficult parking in cities. This paper first summarizes the background and concept of the AVP system, focusing on the system architecture based on the cooperative vehicle infrastructure system. Then, this paper elaborates on the architecture and key technologies of the AVP system based on 5G+AI, including collaborative perception, collaborative positioning, collaborative planning, and collaborative control. The AVP system reduces the cost and safety risks of the vehicle, accelerates the implementation of parking services, and provides certain demonstration and reference for the construction and scene demonstration promotion of the AVP system for vehicle-road coordination.
