Key characteristics analysis and application suggestions of 5G millimeter wave

Abstract

Abstract: Compared with the capabilities of Sub 6 GHz 5G network, this paper analyzes the requirements for 5G millimeter wave technology and network. Based on the technical standards and test verification, this paper analyzes the basic system designs in detail, such as channel bandwidth, frame structure, beam management and beam pattern planning, then discusses the technical specifications of 5G millimeter wave base station and UE. Finally, it puts forward suggestions on 5G millimeter wave technology and products for commercial use.
