Abstract: Digital villages is an advanced form that represents the future development direction. National strategies concerning“National Cyber Development”, “Digital China”, “Smart Society” and “Rural Vitalization” had been issued. As new technologies such as big data, Internet of Things, mobile internet, and artificial intelligence have been comprehensively applied and accelerated in various fields of agriculture and rural areas, the construction of smart cities has been expanded to rural innovation. For the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the digital village will be the focal point, facing the key opportunities of strategic importance. This paper comprehensively explains the current development background, policy system, development status and trend of digital village industry through the analysis of the current policy, capital input, project bidding situation, vendor layout, construction practice and other dimensions of the digital villages. The conclusions could provide decision-making reference for company to enter the digital village market.
