The development Characteristics of digital economy in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and countermeasures

Abstract

Abstract: The construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is a major national regional development strategy personally planned, deployed and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping. The digital economy is the development direction of high-quality construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Based on the measurement of the development level of the digital economy in 21 cities in Guangdong province, this paper analyzes of the development of the digital economy in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and describes the four typical characteristics of the digital economy development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. From aspects of the regional development, digital transformation, innovation factors cultivation and date valuation,this paper analyzes and diagnoses the main contradictions and problems of digital economic development, and finally puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to further promote the high-quality development of the digital economy in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
