Abstract: Compared with classical computing, quantum computing has great potentials for data characterizing and parallel computing, which has made it one of the most popular research topics in the field of quantum information.In this paper, current status of quantum computing technology and industrial development are summarized, some potential applications of quantum computing are analyzed, and finally the future development of quantum computing applications is prospected.
