Abstract: The 5G-scale commercial and 5G + vertical industry applications are gradually developing, which will promote the development of 5G transport network related technologies, standards and industrialization. This article introduces the current status and progress of 5G fronthaul, mid-backhaul, and optical module-related technologies and standardization, and prospects for 5G transmission technology and future development.
