Application of 5G vehicle-road collaboration with autopilot in long-haul logistics

Abstract: This paper explores the application of 5G vehicle-road collaboration in freight autopilot with long-haul logistics as the application object. First, it analyzes the technical characteristics of 5G, the national 5G application development strategy, and the advantages of 5G vehicle-road collaboration in long-haul logistics. Second, it designs the 5G vehicle-road collaboration platform architecture in detail. Finally, based on the actual practice of long-haul logistics, it designs the scenarios and approaches of 5G vehicle-road collaboration autopilot application in terms of safety, energy saving, and efficiency.
