5G: commercial startup in 2019 to boom in 2020

Abstract

Abstract: The year of 2019 is seen as the first year of 5G commercial use. This article presents 10 highlights of global and domestic 5G development in 2019, which are about the advancement of commercial use, network construction in China, industrial value chain, bearer network, industrial applications, 5G + Industrial Internet, security, technical standards, spectrum, and 6G preliminary research. Then it makes a brief outlook for 5G development in 2020.
