Abstract: Estimating the contribution of Digital Economy and monitoring the growth of Digital Economy play an important role in promoting Digital Economy into a healthy and sustainable development path. However, the economy scale measurement methods and results from different countries and institutions differ greatly. This paper reviews the DigitalEconomymeasuring literature, and concludes the definition and measuring method from various institutions and think-tanks. It finds that the measuring difference of Digital Economy scale mainly comes from the distinction of definition. Using broad definition to
measure scale ismorecomprehensive, standardized and practical.
