Abstract: With the rapid development of 5G in commerce, Edge Computing, as the core part of 5G network architecture, is about to usher in a rapid development. For telecom operators, whether based on the consideration of edge cloud collaboration or in order to open up a new blue sea of 5G services, Edge Computing is the direction of technological upgrading that must be grasped. At the same time, the development of policy-coded HD video has brought new opportunities for the integration of Edge Computing and CDN and the upgrading of HD video industry. The three major domestic telecom operators have begun to accumulate and apply technology in the field of Edge Computing in different ways from different perspectives. With the commercial scale of 5G in the future, the application scenarios will continue to enrich, and Edge Computing will also bring greater development opportunities for telecom operators.
