Abstract: With the advantages of“one- point access, multi- point interconnection”, IXPs (Internet Exchange Point) has become a basic form of global Internet interconnection. In recent years, China is also continuing to promote the creation ofnew critical Internet infrastructure.With the maturity of the development of IXP, a new national IXPin Hangzhou was established.ThenewIXPhas significant advantages in terms of connected network type, traffic range, and managementmodeflexibility. It hasmanybenefits for helping to promote the overall efficiency of the Internet, reduce the costs and enhance efficiency of the industry,and serve the development of the digital economy.With the gradual deepening of the pilot creation work, the new IXP will becomean important trend in the future development of Internet in China.
