Abstract: The industry of block chain has developed rapidly, the application scenarios and the scale of investment have been continuously expanded, there are more and more people concerning block chain, and the number of patents around world are rising rapidly. The number of block chain patents in China has growing rapidly, which has passed the United States. However, the Chinese enterprises don’t have enough awareness of overseas patent layout. The number of granted patents in China is lower than that of the United States and South Korea. Enterprises relax the risk of intellectual property infringement when they using open source code. It is necessary to fully understand the status of block chain intellectual property layout, and layout high-quality patent,do risk preventionworkin advance.
