Abstract:

China has been promoting the development of the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) industry, with various regions actively deploying IoV infrastructure such as national IoV pilot zones, intelligent and connected vehicle testing demonstration areas, and “double intelligence” pilot cities. However, in the construction and service provision of IoV infrastructure across numerous regions, challenges such as inadequate accuracy and reliability of roadside information persist. Additionally, there is a lack of comprehensive and widely applicable testing, evaluation methods, and construction, operation, and maintenance systems. This paper aims to summarize and analyze the common issues encountered in the construction and operation of IoV infrastructure. Furthermore, it proposes a system-level testing and evaluation framework, aiming to facilitate high-quality construction and sustainable operation of IoV infrastructure, ultimately driving the continuous advancement of the IoV industry in China.

Key words: IoV infrastructure, test evaluation system, operation and maintenance test method
