Abstract:

As international and industry standards for Fiber To The Room (FTTR) have been progressively established, the development and construction of FTTR has become the common view of the communication community. However, the FTTR system architecture and key technical solutions have not been fully converged and unified. There is still an urgent need to promote standardization work forward and speed up the industrial development. This paper introduces the current status and prospects of FTTR technology from three aspects of system architecture, key technologies and standardization process.
