Digital twin city framework and development suggestions

Abstract:

Digital twin cities have become a new height, new direction and new path for smart cities. Combined with the theory of digital twin technology and the construction practices of digital twin cityies, we further refined the connotation, 4 technical characteristics, 3 visions, 9 elements of digital twin city, proposed the “4 + 5” digital twin city framework, analyzed the three major challenges of digital twin cities that need to be strengthened in rational understanding, improved in data governance and explored in sustainable business model, and put forward strategies and suggestions of the development of digital twin cities for governments and enterprises.
