Abstract:
The 14th Five-Year Plan begins the new chapter of sustainable development, during which it is significant to promote the coordination among “sustainability”, “digitalization” and “intellectualization”. The new-type smart cities will facilitate the country to achieve the goals of carbon peak and neutrality. This paper discusses the construction path of new-type smart cities in the context of carbon strategies. Also, it summarizes the construction content based on the analysis of top-level design, digital infrastructure, smart hubs and intelligent applications. Finally, it puts forword suggestions for the development of new-type smart cities construction under the background of carbon strategies .
