Abstract: The background and updates of the satellite constellation Starlink of American company SpaceX are investigated, including launches information, speed test, satellite and user terminal production status. Then, the network capacity, cost and revenue, military value of Starlink are studied, in order to give a detailed understanding. It can be seen that Starlink already has the ability to provide service to the global customers and profit. It can provide much experience to the development of satellite communication industry of China.
