Abstract: The Industrial Internet, as a product of the in-depth and comprehensive integration of a new generation of information technology and industrial economy, plays an important role in the process of promoting the coupled development of manufacturing and producer services. This article first analyzes the reasons for the low coupling between manufacturing and producer services, and then proposes the mechanism and path for the Industrial Internet to promote the coupling of the two industries, from factor configuration, technological innovation, value chain integration and decomposition, and industrial agglomeration. The four aspects explain how the Industrial Internet promotes the coupled development of manufacturing and producer service industries and thereby enhances international competitiveness and climbs the high-end of the global value chain.
