Research progress and application analysisof quantum secure communication

Abstract

Abstract: Quantum secure communication based on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) has entered preliminary practical application and is expected to become one of the options for improving network information security protection capabilities. In recent years, QKD scientific research has remained active, application and industry further explored, and application suggestions have not yet been unified, which has become the focus of the industry. This paper reviews the latest QKD research and application progress, presents views and opinions of QKD application from different parties. We also proposed to distinguish three different levels of technology, engineering and application for the discussion of QKD issues and provide corresponding analysis and suggestions on these three levels.
