Abstract: Strategic emerging industries represent the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation in the world. They are key areas for cultivating new kinetic energy and gaining new competitive advantages in the future. They are also important for China to transform its development mode and adjust its industrial structure to achieve high-quality development. This paper starts with the development of strategic emerging industries in the United States, briefly analyzes its development trend characteristics and main experience, analyzes the reasons why it always maintains its leading position and continuously seizes new development opportunities, and draws some inspirations for the existing problems in the development of China’s strategicemerging industries.
