Abstract: On June 13, the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government jointly held the opening ceremony of the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s STAR(Sci-Tech innovation board) Market. The establishment of the STAR Market reflects the continuous innovation and mature development of China’s capital market system, marking the continuous improvement of China’s multi-level capital market. This paper starts with the comparative analysis of the STAR Market in China’s capital market, explains the process of the market’s listing, analyzes the latest progress of the market, and proposes the future recommendations of the market.
