Abstract:

Due to the significant importance of data pricing in promoting digital transformation of enterprises, building data element markets, and promoting sustainable economic development, CiteSpace bibliometric analysis software is used to focus on the theme evolution, trends, and historical background of data pricing research, using relevant research literature from China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Web of Science (WOS) databases as data sources. This paper conducts a quantitative analysis of authoritative domestic and foreign data pricing literature from 1993 to 2022. Research has found that from 1993 to 2022, research on data pricing both domestically and internationally has shown an overall fluctuating upward trend, with significant heat in the past three years. The research mode in foreign countries is mostly collaborative and shared research, while in China, it is mostly independent research, lacking collaborative research between research institutions and data suppliers. The research content in China focuses on the cost-effectiveness, fair trade, privacy ownership, etc. of data pricing, while abroad focuses on privacy security and protection, artificial intelligence algorithms, customer service quality, etc. of data pricing, all of which are closely related to the development of information technology. In the future, data pricing research will further focus on the “dual carbon” background, combining Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) investment concepts, and laying out and expanding new perspectives.
