Through investigation, the paper analyzes the actual situation and difficulties of digital transformation of traditional manufacturing enterprises. Based on the development status of modern industrialization in China, it is proposed that “5G+ Industrial Internet” is not only the core of 5G strategy and digital new infrastructure strategy, but also an important support to promote the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries in China. Finally, it points out that we should attach great importance to the system obstacles, and puts forward suggestions on promoting the innovation and integration.

Aiming to mitigate the training difficulty of deep neural models at the edge of network, this paper introduces a deep learning model training framework based on 5G edge computing. The presented training framework connects smart devices and performs data communication via the 5G edge computing access network. The model training is firstly implemented in edge computing nodes using local data, and then the model parameters are collected and globally updated in the central server. This scenario ensures the diversity of data sets for training, reduces networks pressure and protects privacy of local data. Thus, it is a promising edge computing architecture for deep learning.

NRV2Xis one of key future 5GR16 commercial applications.NRV2Xstandardization program has been set up in 3GPPR16, focusing on the specification of SLinterface to fulfill the stringent requirements of advancedV2Xapplications on latency, transmission rate, reliability, etc. Compared to the LTE V2X which simply works in the broadcast manner, NR V2X will adopt a number of new features which include unicast and groupcast transmission, SL-BWP, HARQ feedback, CSI measurement and report, NR and LTE devices scheduled by both NR gNB and LTE eNB, SL synchronization based SSB,according to the application scenarios.As a consequense, NR SL shall introduce new designs on the technologies of physical layer structure, transmission procedures, resource allocation, synchronization mechanism and coexistence of NR and LTE devices. In this paper, we make analyses on the developments of key technologies in the physical layer of NR V2X in the current standardization process, and advicesonthe follow-up improvements are put forward accordingly.

This paper explores the application of 5G vehicle-road collaboration in freight autopilot with long-haul logistics as the application object. First, it analyzes the technical characteristics of 5G, the national 5G application development strategy, and the advantages of 5G vehicle-road collaboration in long-haul logistics. Second, it designs the 5G vehicle-road collaboration platform architecture in detail. Finally, based on the actual practice of long-haul logistics, it designs the scenarios and approaches of 5G vehicle-road collaboration autopilot application in terms of safety, energy saving, and efficiency.

Three kinds of clouds,core cloud, edge cloud and access cloud, which can be deployed in 5G network, are described in this paper.
